Largely true to its retail counterpart, the shoe’s main difference arrives via the royal blue laces that sport ‘Rumor has it…’ as a nod to the 1985 NBA All-Star Game��in which veteran players were rumored to have ‘frozen out’ Michael Jordan. To play to the theme, the shoe’s Varsity Red overlays sport a subtle frozen finish, with an icy translucent rubber outsole adding a further thematic touch. The lateral heel sports Michael Jordan’s signature to directly callout the player in question.
